In Jalalabad’s Parour police station’s village Astauli, a cousin brother and sister committed suicide by hanging themselves due to a love affair. On receiving the information, the police reached the village, took the bodies in custody and sent them for postmortem.

In Asatauli village of Shahjahanpur’s Thana Parour area, a young man and a young woman committed suicide by hanging themselves from different nooses. The young man Kuldeep (20), son of Karu, was married for about five months. The young woman Kiran (18), daughter of Dodram, was to get married on 9th July next month. The two committing suicide together created a sensation in the village. Karu and Dodram are real brothers. They were cousins. They were in a love affair for a long time. It is said that the girl had tried to commit suicide once before by consuming poison.
Police sent the bodies of both for post-mortem
Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural), Manoj Kumar Awasthi said that the Paraur police station received information about a young man and a young woman hanging themselves together in the afternoon. The police reached the spot and took the bodies of both of them into custody and sent them for postmortem. As per the first information received by the police, the case is said to be of a love affair.
