An old woman admitted in Lucknow’s Lokbandhu Rajnarayan Hospital for 13 days met her family. The woman’s family could be traced due to the efforts of the Director and CMS of the hospital. She was picked up from the road in an abandoned condition and brought to the hospital on 8 June.

On June 8, an 80-year-old woman was found lying unconscious in a crowded area of Alambagh. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and admitted the woman to the hospital. After which all the doctors of the medicine department, nursing staff, ward boys, aaya, and cleaning staff treated the patient as well as gave her family-like love in the absence of any of her attendants.
Director Dr. Suresh Chandra Kaushal and Chief Superintendent Dr. Rajiv Dixit kept trying to find the address and mobile numbers of relatives in some way or the other every day. Last Thursday evening, due to the tireless efforts of the director, the address of the daughter and son-in-law of the patient admitted near Madhuban in Ballia district was found out. They were informed by talking to them on mobile. After this, information was obtained about the old man’s grandson Satya Nand Verma who is the office superintendent in Income Tax Office, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow.
