Re-examination is to be held on 23 June for 1563 candidates who got grace marks in NEET UG exam. 6 new test centers have been made for this exam. This exam is to be held on 23 June from 2 pm to 5:20 pm. This exam will be conducted in 6 cities.

NTA has appointed observers at the test centers set up for this exam. During the exam, officials of NTA and Education Minister will also be present at the exam centers. According to the report of Hindustan Times, new test centers have been made for re-examination. Only one center in Chandigarh has been made a center for re-examination. Only two candidates will appear for the exam here.

There will be no exam in Jhajjar center of Haryana
Jhajjar centre in Haryana has also been changed. 6 candidates scoring 720/720 came from this centre. Re-examination will not be conducted in this centre. Officials associated with the Ministry of Education said that the change in exam centres has been made to ensure that there is no problem during the exam.

CSIR UGC NET exam 21, which was to be held between 25 to 27 June, has been postponed
NTA postponed the CSIR UGC NET exam on Friday at 8.30 pm. This exam was to be held between 25-27 June. The reason for postponing the exam is said to be lack of resources. NTA said that the new time table of this exam will be released soon on the official website csirnet.nta.ac.in It will be uploaded on . Two days ago on 19th June, NTA had cancelled the UGC NET exam after suspicion of irregularities.

Supreme Court refuses to stop NEET counselling for the second time
Earlier in the day, a hearing was held in the Supreme Court on the NEET exam controversy. A student had filed a petition in the Supreme Court.

The students said that 773 candidates have failed without getting grace marks. The entire exam should be cancelled and conducted again. The case is to be heard on July 8, so the counselling which is starting from July 6 should also be extended by 2 days.

On this, the Supreme Court refused to stop the counseling. However, on the demand for re-examination, NTA has been asked to file a reply in 2 weeks. In the hearing on June 20, the Supreme Court had also refused to stop the counseling.

This committee will work to further improve the structure, functioning, exam process, transparency, transfer and data, security protocol of NTA.’

NTA also cancelled UGC NET exam. Amidst the NEET UG exam controversy, UGC NET exam was also cancelled late night on 19 June. This exam was held on 18 June. There is a suspicion of paper leak in it. Education Ministry had given this information by issuing a press release.
