Villagers in Mahoba complained to the city police station about a woman occupying the drain built for water drainage and demanded action. They say that due to the blockage of the drain, the villagers are already scared of the problems that will occur during the rainy season and the problems of waterlogging.

Here the drain made for rain water drainage has been illegally occupied. Due to which worried farmers have reached the city police station. Villagers Jawaharlal, Kamlesh, Kunna, Gulab Singh, Brajendra, Vinod, Shyam Sundar, Raghu, Dayashankar etc. submitted a written application to the city police station. They told that the drain made for rain water drainage in their village has been forcibly occupied by a woman. The drain has been completely closed by putting mud in it. If this is opposed, the woman becomes ready to fight and threatens to implicate in a false case.

Villagers reached the police station to lodge a complaint.

When the village head and the accountant reached the spot, the woman misbehaved with them as well and the blocked drain was not opened. On which the villagers complained about the entire matter in the city police station today and demanded a fair investigation as well as the release of the drain built for water drainage. The villagers say that many dumpers of soil have been dumped on the drain. Due to which the drain has been completely blocked. In such a situation, during the rainy season, the problem of waterlogging, mud and water filling in people’s houses can arise in the village. In view of which it is necessary to remove the illegal encroachment on the drain.

Police is investigating
Regarding this matter, city police chief Narendra Pratap Singh said that considering the villagers’ complaint seriously, the area in-charge has been sent to resolve the matter.
