A 22-year-old youth committed suicide by hanging himself in Chinhat area of Lucknow. The youth was preparing for civil services. He was under stress due to not getting selected. He committed suicide by hanging himself from a fan on Sunday morning. Police conducted the post-mortem and handed over the body to the family.

According to the information, Upendra Patel (22) son of Brijlal Patel, a resident of Ghoraiya Tahrauli Jhansi, was preparing for competitive exams by staying with his brother and sister in Semra Chinhat area of Lucknow. Despite preparing for a long time, he was not getting selected. He was stressed about this.
Gradually, as the tension increased, he started taking medicines for depression. On Sunday morning at around 5 am, he committed suicide by hanging himself from a fan. Police reached the spot, got the body post-mortem done and handed it over to the family.

Upendra lived in BBD area with his sister Priyanka Patel and brother Kapil Patel. His sister is a lady constable. While brother Kapil is also preparing for competitive exams. Priyanka told that she cooked dinner and went for duty at night.
Kapil also went to sleep. In the morning when Kapil woke up, he found his brother hanging from a noose. After this, he was brought down in a hurry and taken to Lohia Hospital. Where the doctor declared him dead.
