It is reported that 30-year-old Saroj, son of Hira Lal, a resident of Ram Dham Majra Lodhi of Baghauli police station, was returning on foot from Madhoganj Road Baghauli Square on Sunday morning after buying some material to put the roof on his house. Meanwhile, a PNC company dumper returning from Madhoganj carrying soil in front of the residence of former MLC Ramkumar Kuril crushed Saroj, causing his death.
Meanwhile, the driver left the dumper there and ran away. As soon as this was known, Baghauli police station in-charge Suresh Kumar Singh reached there with his team and took the body in custody and got the dumper parked there removed. As soon as this was known, there was an uproar among Saroj’s family members. The police took the body in custody and sent it for post-mortem.
