A wanted accused who committed fraud in the name of selling a plot was arrested by Noida’s Crime Branch and CRT with the help of local intelligence. The accused has been identified as Rajneesh Sharma. The accused was declared dead by some people. Even after which the police started searching for him.

In fact, on 11 July 2019, Sadhna Garg filed a case in Sector-49 police station regarding fraud in the plot. This case was registered against Yogesh, Pappu Yadav, Ishtiaq, Imran, Rohit, Lakhan Singh son of Pratap Singh. In which Yogesh and another person Sunil Sharma (fake name, real name Imran) called the victim and her husband to NI Infrastructure Green India Place near Vishal Mega Mart Sixth Floor. Both were told that they would be given plots at cheap rates in Sector 78 and 79.
Information obtained from social media accounts
DCP Crime Branch Shakti Mohan Awasthi said that on suspicion, our team tracked its location. After this, social media accounts were tracked. In which the latest update was found. When the suspicion deepened, the informer system was activated. After which its location was found.
The price of the land is stated to be Rs 32 lakh
An empty land was shown in the Sarfabad village area behind the Metro Station Sector-101 near the Sikka Project in Sector 79. Pappu Yadav met these people there who told that he does plotting here. He showed a fake map. He told that the General Power of Attorney of the entire land is with a person named Ishtiaq. An Agreement to Sell letter was made on the same day for Rs. 100. The price of the land was fixed at Rs. 32 lakh.
Gave six cheques of Rs 5 lakh each and got fake registry done
On 30 March 2019, four cheques of Rs 5 lakh each were given in the name of Sharda Real Tech, another cheque of Rs 5 lakh was given in the name of NI Infratech and one cheque of Rs 5 lakh was given in the name of Rajneesh. The registry was done at the registry office. After the registry, when the victim went to take possession of the land, it was found that the land did not belong to them. A case was filed. During this time it was told that Rajneesh Sharma had died.
8 people have already been arrested
Investigation was done in the Registrar’s office Ghaziabad by a person named Lajpat Babeja in favor of Ishtiaq and it was found that the alleged fake plot has been registered in the name of the victim Sadhna Garg and her daughter. Another woman had also filed a separate case regarding the incident that happened with her. In this case, the police have arrested Yogesh Kumar, Pappu Yadav, Ishtiaq, Imran, Rohit, Lakhan Singh, Bilal, Chandrashekhar Verma.
