A girl from Chinhat area was in a love relationship with her neighbor Durgesh for one and a half years. Both their families were unhappy with this. A year ago, the boy’s family got him married somewhere else. After the marriage, the boy told the girl that he had many obscene videos of hers and he would make them viral. He kept demanding money by threatening her with this.

The girl’s brother said that my sister kept stealing money and some jewellery from the house and giving it to my sister. But when he kept demanding money, my sister got fed up. She informed the family members. We took him to the police station. A complaint was lodged with the police. But no hearing took place.

The victim’s brother said that my sister was upset and was hanging herself by closing the door of the house three days ago. The family members saw her from the window. Chinhat police station officer Ashwani Chaturvedi said that the accused Durgesh is absconding at the moment and every effort is being made to catch him. The culprit will be taken into custody soon and strict action will be taken against him.
