Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission’s State Service and State Forest Service Preliminary Examination 2024 was conducted in two shifts on Sunday. The first paper of General Studies was held from 10 am to 12 noon. The second paper of General Aptitude Test started at 2.15 pm and ended at 4.15 pm

This exam is for 110 posts. 1.83 lakh candidates had applied for it. Out of which 1 lakh 34 thousand candidates appeared in the exam. Most of the students who came out after giving the first paper said that the paper was easy. They hope that they will pass with good marks. By Monday, the sealed OMR sheets from all the district headquarters will reach the commission office under police surveillance.
MPPSC lodged a complaint at the police station on the news of paper leak
In Indore, MPPSC officials lodged a complaint in Sanyogitaganj police station regarding the spread of the news of paper leak. After the examination started, the commission officials compared the viral paper and the original paper, in which both the viral paper and the original paper were found to be different. The officials lodged a complaint in the police station against those who tarnished the image of the commission.
There was also an incident of cheating during the examination
A case of cheating was also reported from Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government College, Indore, during the exam held on Sunday.

CM Dr. Mohan Yadav said- negligence will not be tolerated
Here, on the apprehension of MPPSC paper leak, CM Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the government will not tolerate any negligence. Law and order will be followed.
Earlier in the morning, candidates reached all the exam centres on time. After checking, they were allowed to enter the exam hall. Their shoes and socks were removed. Earrings, bracelets and bangles were removed from girls and Kalawa was also removed from boys. In Indore, Rameshwar Parmar, accused of Nagar Nigam scam, also appeared in the exam. He reached the exam centre from jail under police protection.
