The Governor was welcomed by Director General Upam L Venkateshwar Lu by presenting a plant.
The Governor said that during deployment in the districts, all the people should play their role in the proper implementation of all kinds of schemes. The Governor said that the money sent by the Central and State Governments should be utilized properly.

Governor Anandi Ben Patel said that the officers should work in coordination with the public. There should be no discrimination of any kind. There should be no discrimination of any kind in implementing the government schemes.

While advising the trainee officer, the Governor said that children above tenth standard should be made to visit jails and old age homes. So that they can think of not committing crimes. Visiting old age homes will develop a sense of service towards parents in them.
