Team India has defeated Australia by 24 runs in its last Super-8 match. With this victory, Team India has made it to the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup. The team has reached the top-4 of this tournament for the 5th time. In the semi-finals, India will play against defending champion England on 27 June at 8:00 pm at Guyana ground.
Australia won the toss and opted to bowl on Monday in St. Lucia, West Indies. Indian Captain Rohit Sharma played an innings of 92 runs off 41 balls. In the run chase, Australia had scored 128 runs at the loss of 2 wickets in 13 overs. After that, Indian bowlers made a strong comeback in the last 7 overs and restricted the Kangaroo team to 181/7 in 20 overs. Many interesting moments were seen in this match. 2. Rohit hit 4 sixes to Mitchell Starc
Rohit scored 29 runs in the second over of the Stars.
After Virat Kohli was out in Hazelwood’s over, Mitchell Starc came to bowl the next over. Rohit Sharma hit 4 sixes to Starc and also hit a boundary. One of the sixes was 96 meters long. Starc gave 29 runs in his second over. Rohit hit sixes on the first, second, fourth and last ball of Starc.

Akshar was bowling the 15th over of the innings. He bowled a good length ball on the stump line. Marcus Stoinis did a reverse sweep. The ball went straight to the backward point but Hardik failed to catch it at once. He bounced the ball 2-3 times in his hand but finally he completed the catch.

Australia has also lost the 5th wicket. Jaspreet Bumrah, who was bowling the 17th over, sent Travis Head to the pavilion. Head was out after scoring 76 runs. He was caught by Rohit Sharma.

Kuldeep caught Matthew Wade for 1 run.
Arshdeep took 2 wickets in the 18th over. He bowled a short pitch ball outside the off stump to Matthew Wade. Wade wanted to play a shot over short third man but could not connect. The ball took the outside edge of the bat and Kuldeep took a brilliant catch by diving.
