In Etah, the bodies of a lover and his girlfriend were found hanging from a tree. Both were from the same village. The girl’s family had fixed her marriage somewhere else and the engagement had also happened. Due to which both were upset. That is why both of them met at night. After that, a dead body was found hanging from a tree outside the village.

Then the family members of both reached the spot. On receiving the information, Nagar Area Officer Vikrant Dwivedi and the police of Kotwali Dehat police station reached the spot. After questioning both the families, the bodies were sent for postmortem. The incident took place in Nagla Pati village of Kotwali Dehat police station area.
Akash Kushwaha (20), a resident of the village, had an affair with Karishma Kushwaha (18) for about one and a half years. Both of them used to talk on the phone often. Their houses are next to each other.
Karishma’s mother said- The two were in a love affair for the past one and a half years. They had even run away from home once. They were counselled many times but they did not listen. That is why we had fixed our daughter’s marriage with another boy.
The boy had threatened
On 17th March this year, we had also done the baby shower for our daughter. At that time, the daughter had agreed. She had also got the entire ceremony photographed. But later, the boy threatened to cancel the marriage or else he would kill her. Only after this, both of them started meeting each other again.
However, on the other hand, the boy’s brother Nirdosh has accused the accused of murdering both of them. He says that his brother and the girl were killed and then their bodies were hanged. The girl’s family had threatened them earlier as well.
