Question: What do you discuss with your elder sister Vaishali about chess?
answer: Often before the match I talk to him about my first move. I ask him how to play in the beginning. By the way, we also talk about other games and what happened in them. We learn a lot from every game.
Question: What is your daily routine as a chess player?
answer: I devote most of my time at home to chess. Apart from this, I play badminton and exercise. If there are online tournaments, I participate in them as well. Apart from this, I analyze what mistakes I made. Whether I win or lose.
Question: Earlier, only Vishwanathan Anand’s name was seen in chess from India. Now there are 3 Indians in the top-10. Is this the golden age of India in chess?
answer:It is good to have 3 Indians in the top-10. However, I don’t think we should compare with Anand. This is nothing compared to what he has achieved. He is a great player and we all want to be like him. By the way, not only Indian chess but world chess is going through a golden age.
