A laborer died after coming in contact with a high tension line in Lucknow’s Jankipuram area. The incident is said to have taken place at 5 pm on Monday. Construction work was going on in Jankipuram. Then a laborer fell down from the third floor due to electric shock. Police sent the body for postmortem.

According to the information, Ramvilas Pal (40) son of Chhotelal, resident of village Chakla, police station Atrauli, Hardoi, used to work as a laborer in Lucknow. He lived near Ramkishore School Abhishek Puram in Lucknow. He was working in a three-storey house in Sector-2 of Jankipuram.
On Monday, at around 3 pm, he was working on the third floor. Then he came in contact with the high tension line passing in front of the house. Due to which he lost his balance and fell down. People present there took him to the trauma center. Where doctors declared him dead. After this, the police was informed.
The police reached the spot, filled the Panchnama and kept the body in the mortuary for postmortem. The family has been informed. Further action will be taken after their arrival.
