In Sultanpur, on Monday, advocates protested at the SP office under the aegis of the Bar Association. Advocates were angry due to the mistreatment of a fellow advocate and his family. After submitting a memorandum to the SP, the advocates protested against the SO Gosaiganj and the outpost in-charge Dwarikaganj.

The case of Vallipur of Gosaiganj
Advocate and Congress leader Varun Mishra, who was protesting under the banner of the Bar, said that the matter is related to Vallipur village of Gosaiganj police station area. Fellow advocate Vedant Tripathi resides here. He said that on the night of June 20, SO Gosaiganj Dheeraj Kumar, outpost in-charge Dwarikaganj Amit Singh along with a dozen police personnel reached Advocate Vedant’s house and forcibly entered the house.
All of them dragged his father Shravan Kumar Tripathi and took him out. Varun said that his fellow advocate informed him that the police personnel misbehaved with his father and used abusive language against him.
The advocates placed these demands before the police officers
We reached the SP office today regarding this matter. All the advocates have demanded from the police officers that the SHO and the outpost in-charge should be suspended with immediate effect. The accused against whom the case has been registered by the advocate should be arrested. Along with this, security arrangements should be made for the safety of the family.
