Edtech company, Testbook has released a vacancy for the post of Academic Mentor. The company is looking for mentors for UPSC aspirants. Candidates shortlisted for this post will have to provide guidance in exam preparation strategy, study plans and goal setting so that aspirants can qualify the exam.
Role and Responsibilities:
- One-to-one mentorship will have to be given to UPSC candidates.
- There should be deep knowledge of UPSC exam pattern, syllabus and current affairs.
- Assessing strengths and weaknesses of individual aspirants and providing mentorship to improve them.
- To motivate aspirants to achieve their best and boost their confidence.
- Stay updated with the changing UPSC exam trends to keep your mentoring methods relevant and effective.
- Working collaboratively with other mentors, educators and support staff to promote a supportive learning environment, share best practices and contribute to program success.
Educational Qualification :
- Candidates must have a graduation degree.
Experience:
- It is mandatory to appear in UPSC Prelims at least 3 times, Mains 2 times, or 1 interview.
Skills required:
- Must have work experience in mentor or mentorship roles.
- There should be deep knowledge of UPSC exam pattern and syllabus.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must have strong organizational knowledge and time management skills.
