Husband accused of murdering his wife in police custody.

In Faridabad, Haryana, the police station Sector 55 has arrested the accused husband in the case of strangling his wife with a dupatta. The police said in this case that the name of the arrested accused is Mubarik, who is a resident of Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh and was arrested last year.

On June 17, the deceased woman’s brother Imran told the police in his complaint that his sister was married to Mubarik about 16 years ago and they have four children. The complainant told that his brother-in-law is addicted to alcohol and used to beat his sister after drinking. He tried to explain to his brother-in-law many times but he did not listen. On June 17, it was reported in the morning that the accused strangled her to death with a dupatta.

As soon as the information was received, the police team reached the spot where the body of the deceased woman was lying on the bed and her dupatta was wrapped around her neck. Based on the complaint of the victim, a case was registered against the accused Mubarik and three others under sections of murder and they were searched. The police team, acting on the information of secret sources, arrested the accused from Sector 56 area yesterday.

Police investigation revealed that the accused works as a bus driver in a travel company called Surya Travels. On the night of the incident, the accused had come back from Salasar with a bus. When he reached his home, the children were sleeping in another room. The accused suspected his wife of having an illicit relationship with someone else. Due to this, a fight broke out between the two in which the accused strangled his wife to death with her dupatta.
