The case is of Dataganj Kotwali area. A youth named Sanju, who lives in Papad village here, was not getting married. In such a situation, he asked some acquaintances to arrange his marriage. On this, three youths of Dataganj town contacted him and lured him into getting married. In return, they also asked for 75 thousand rupees. The youth gave the money. After this, the cunning people also provided a bride. Also, on Sunday, they got both of them married in a temple. Before this, Sanju also got jewelry and clothes for the girl.
After the marriage, the accused said that the bride will not go to her in-laws’ house, but the three young men will take her with them. The young men should go to the address given by them and bring her back after a few days. Sanju did not agree to this and objected. Meanwhile, due to an argument, Sanju called the police. The police took both the parties to the police station.
The incident took place on Sunday, but on Monday the police got both the parties to compromise. Under this, the girl who was to be the bride was handed over to the accused in writing. The young man’s father said that the money was lost and the bride was also gone. Even before the son’s house could be settled, a ruckus broke out. Meanwhile, SP City Amit Kishore Srivastava said that such a case is not in his knowledge at the moment. It is possible that a compromise was reached at the police station level.
