India in T20 World Cup final after 10 years: Defeated England by 68 runs, avenged the 2022 semi-final defeat

After 10 years, Team India has reached the final of the T20 World Cup. The Indian team has made it to the final for the third time. India defeated defending champion England by 68 runs. With this, the team captained by Rohit Sharma has also avenged the defeat of the 2022 T20 World Cup. The team last reached the final in 2014.

England captain Jos Buttler won the toss and chose to bowl at the Providence Stadium in Guyana. Team India gave England a target of 172 runs with the help of Rohit Sharma’s fifty, then on the strength of Kuldeep and Akshar’s bowling, the English team was sent to the pavilion for 103 runs in 16.4 overs.
