Team India has won the T20 World Cup-2024 title. All-rounder Hardik Pandya played an important role in India’s victory. Pandya took 3 wickets for 20 runs in 3 overs in the final match played between India and South Africa. Hardik was seen crying for a long time after India’s victory.

Hardik scored only 5 runs in batting, but did wonders with the ball. He took the important wicket of Heinrich Klaasen who had scored 52 runs in 27 balls. In the last over when South Africa needed 12 runs, he dismissed David Miller and Kagiso Rabada.

After the victory, Hardik shared a photo with the trophy on Sunday. He wrote- ‘Good morning, India. This was not a dream, this is true. We are world champions.’

Suryakumar Yadav took a brilliant catch of South Africa’s Miller. South Africa had to score 16 runs in the last 6 balls. David Miller was at the crease. Hardik bowled a low full toss on the off stump. Miller played a shot which was going over the boundary. Suryakumar caught the catch. Due to the speed, Suryakumar was going inside the boundary, so he bounced the ball outside and then completed the catch by jumping outside.

Sharing the photo, Surya wrote the caption, ‘It’ll be a good night’s sleep.’
