A law school was organized in the police station of Azamgarh, officials gave information about the new laws.
People were made aware of the new rules by organizing a law school in the Kotwali of Azamgarh district regarding the changed law from July 1. A large number of police and district administration personnel including DIG Vaibhav Krishna, SP Hemraj Meena and DM Vishal Bhardwaj of the district participated in this program.

The top officials of the district told the people that many rules will change with the implementation of three new laws. With the implementation of the new laws, there will be a lot of changes in the working of the common man, police, lawyers and courts. In the new criminal laws, the laws related to violence against women and children have been made stricter. Apart from this, many legal changes have also been made.
Like now you can register e-FIR from home. Many new rules like income tax return, banking rules, changes in rules for getting SIM card and possible increase in fuel price will be implemented. Apart from this, there will be changes in many more rules, which will directly affect the pocket of the common man. During this time, the administration officials also did foot patrolling from Chowk to Takiya.
The decision will come within 45 days
Under the new laws, the verdict in criminal cases will come within 45 days of the completion of the trial and charges will be framed within 60 days of the first hearing. The statement of the rape victim will be recorded by a female police officer in the presence of her guardian or relative and the medical report will have to be submitted within 7 days.
The new laws define organised crime and terrorism. Sedition has been replaced by treason and videography of all search and seizure operations has been made mandatory.
