In the case of dowry harassment, Allahabad High Court gave relief to the whole family. However, the court did not give relief to the husband. After the husband filed a divorce case, the High Court dismissed the case filed by the wife against the whole family on the charges of dowry harassment and assault.

Serious allegations made after five years of marriage
The court said that the allegation of demanding five lakh cash and a Bolero car on the family after five years of marriage is of general nature, so the case will not be filed against the family members. But the case will be filed on the basis of the charge sheet filed against the husband for dowry harassment and assault. The court has dismissed the case against the accused family members Mrs. Rasida, Rashid, Kari Sajid, Khadija, Maulana, Muhammadi, Ummehani.

The marriage took place on 30 March 2017.
It is known that the petitioner and the opponent got married on 30 March 2017. They also had two children. Due to family discord, the wife left the house and came to her maternal home. The husband kept the children with himself. He did not give them even when asked. On which the wife lodged an FIR on 25 February 23 in Mundali police station on the charges of dowry harassment and assault. In which the court took cognizance of the police charge sheet and issued summons. The charge sheet and summons order along with the case proceedings were challenged.

The petitioner’s husband said that he had filed a divorce case on 19 October 22. The dowry harassment case has been filed to put pressure and the whole family has been accused. The dowry allegation is false. Therefore, the case should be cancelled. On which the court has given relief to the family but has ordered to file a case against the husband.
