An awareness campaign was launched in Rampur today on the occasion of the abolition of a centuries-old law and the formation of a new law. The administration and police organized awareness meetings. In this, District Magistrate Joginder Singh, Superintendent of Police Vidyasagar Mishra, city MLA Akash Saxena explained the new law to the public. On the implementation of the Indian Judicial Code-2023, Indian Civil Defense Code and Indian Evidence Act-2023, all the people of the society were informed about it.

The District Magistrate, Superintendent of Police, MLA made the elite people, village heads, women, journalists aware by giving information about the Indian Justice Code-2023, Indian Civil Defense Code and Indian Evidence Act 2023 in the Civil Lines Police Station premises. On this occasion, Superintendent of Police Vidyasagar Mishra said that the new law is based on justice and is citizen-centric. The new law is based on technology. There will be accountability of the police and at the same time transparency will increase. There will be a time boundation in this. There is a provision of e-FIR through UP Cop. More speed will be fixed in this. Along with this, it will be monitored by the Home Ministry.

He said that information is being given in all police stations. Study material is also being provided. Also, everyone has been connected through the Central Government’s NCRB compilation app. Everyone is being trained for this, so that there is no violation of law or inconvenience during police action and duty.
