RPS Srivastava, a resident of Sector-16 Indira Nagar, is a retired government employee. His daughter Alpana Srivastava and son-in-law Mohit Verma live with him. Chandresh Kumar Srivastava, son of Devendra Kumar Srivastava, a resident of Kunda Pratapgarh, met RPS Srivastava. He introduced himself as a review officer posted in the secretariat.

After this, he talked about getting his daughter and son-in-law a job as review officer. In return, he demanded Rs. 2 lakh 20 thousand. RPS Shrivastav agreed to this and gave the money. He said that he would give the appointment letter with the officer’s seal in a few days.

Secretariat entrance gate pass issued

After a long time, when he talked about the job, the appointment letter and the gate pass for secretariat entry were issued in his name. He was given the false promise of joining after the elections. He was told that the officers were busy with the elections and the joining would be done as soon as it was over. When the joining did not happen even after the election results were declared, RPSC Shrivastava asked to find out about both the children Chandresh. Then it was found out that Chandresh has been missing for 4 months.

He called from Pratapgarh and told that he was ill. He would get the work done as soon as he reached Lucknow. After this, he went to the secretariat with the pass he had made. There it was found that the pass was fake. It was told in the secretariat that there is no person named Chandresh Kumar on the post of Review Officer Revenue. After this it was found that there was fraud. Police is investigating the matter.
