Late night in Agra, unknown people shot dead a young man sleeping on the stage in a Buddhist Katha pandal. Hearing the gunshot, other young men sleeping in the pandal woke up. By then the miscreants had fled after shooting him. Police reached the spot after getting the information and sent the body for postmortem.

A collective Buddhist Katha is being organized in front of the Junior High School in Aanvalkheda for the last four days. All the villagers are participating in it with great enthusiasm. On Monday night at around 12:30, Raja Babu, son of Jaichand, resident of Aanvalkheda, was sleeping on the stage. About half a dozen people from the village were also sleeping in the pandal.

Hearing the bullet sound, other people sleeping in the pandal woke up
At around 12:30 in the night, people sleeping in the pandal woke up after hearing the sound of a gunshot. When they looked towards the stage, Raja Babu, who was sleeping on the stage, was bleeding from his chest. When the young men sleeping in the pandal ran towards Raja Babu, Raja Babu had already died.
The miscreants had fled after shooting. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and took the body in their custody and sent it for postmortem. When Raja Babu’s family came to know about this, they were inconsolable.
A heavy police force is present on the spot.
Father Jaichand died four years ago
Rajababu’s father Jai Chand died of illness about four years ago. Rajababu also has a younger brother named Prem. Rajababu used to work as a labourer to feed his family. SHO Rajiv Kumar says, on the basis of the complaint, a case has been registered and the reason for the murder is being investigated. The murderers are being searched.
