The water level of Rapti river and the drains originating from Nepal is at warning level; the water level of Rapti river has increased due to rain in Balrampur.

In the last two days, the water level of Saryu has increased by 50 cm. On Tuesday, the water level was recorded at 103.180. The water level has increased in many mountain streams including Henha, Gauriya, Kachni, Dhebainia originating from Nepal. Due to which there is a danger of flood in the nearby villages. Some villages are flooded due to which the movement of people has been disrupted. People have lost contact with the headquarters.

Due to which the river has come to the warning level. The hill streams are overflowing. The water level of the Hengha stream has increased a lot due to which Parsahwa, Madargarh and Kamdi have been flooded, which has affected the movement of people.
