In Mirzapur, a list of 681 people who took government money by showing themselves eligible under the Pradhan Mantri Urban Housing Scheme has been released. Those who did not construct the house even after taking the government money. They have been asked to submit documents to prove their eligibility by July 8.

Additional District Magistrate Finance and Revenue Project and Director DUDA Shiv Pratap Shukla said that funds were allocated under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana- Urban. Even after the money was transferred to the account, housing construction was not started. The list of such people has been released.
622 beneficiaries in Mirzapur Municipal Council, 59 in Kachhwa Municipal Council, 150 in Ahraura Municipal Council and 179 beneficiaries in Chunar Municipal Council have not got their houses constructed due to various reasons. During investigation, a total of 681 such beneficiaries were found ineligible. The list of which has been pasted in the concerned municipal body office. Beneficiaries should take a look at that list. They can submit their documentary evidence regarding their eligibility in the concerned municipal body office till 4 pm on 8th July.
After this, the claim of any beneficiary will not be valid. The beneficiaries mentioned in the list will be considered finally ineligible and the beneficiary list will be sent to SUDA headquarters Lucknow and the government for re-curtailment.
