Children studying in class one and two in primary schools in Ambedkar Nagar will soon get new books. The first consignment of books for class one and two reached the BSA office on Tuesday. After verification, schools will be given new books based on the number of students.

About 55 thousand students study in class one and two in 1062 primary schools of the district. These students are still studying from old books even after the new session started. Children from class 3 to class 8 got new books as soon as the new session started in April, but new books could not be made available to the students of class one and two.
Education should be given from NCERT books
The reason was that the government was not able to decide whether these children should be given NCERT books or general books. Later the government decided that these children should be taught from NCERT books, after which a working agency was nominated to provide the books.
Now on Tuesday, the implementing agency has delivered some books for the children of class one and two, which includes Sarangi for class one, Sarangi and Anandmay Ganit books for class two. The remaining books will also arrive in a day or two. BSA Bholeendra Pratap Singh said that some books have arrived, which are being verified and sent to the school according to the number of students. All the books will arrive soon.
