Mayor Sunita Dayal said in a statement- ‘Many monkeys are being released at night from Delhi side. Kejriwal, his Municipal Corporation and his people are involved in this business. We have talked to the Forest Department in this regard. Somehow these monkeys should be caught and released in the forest at whatever cost.’
‘The forests are gone, where will the monkeys go?’
She said- ‘People’s hands are tied because of the PFA (People for Animals) organization. If someone takes action against animals, the people of the organization complain against them. Undoubtedly Maneka Gandhi is doing good work, but she should also find some solution to the increasing problem of animals. The forests have been destroyed. In such a situation, the number of monkeys is increasing in the populated areas. In such a situation, where should the monkeys go to fill their stomachs? I will ask the Garden Department and the Forest Department what is the solution to this?’
