Due to the rain in Azamgarh for the last two days, normal life has been badly disrupted. Due to this rain, waterlogging has occurred in many places. 74 millilitres of rain was recorded in the district on Tuesday and Wednesday. Due to this rain, there was waterlogging in many places in the district.

Due to the rain, people faced a lot of problems even in bringing their children from school. Heavy rain is expected in Azamgarh till July 6.

After the rain, waterlogging was seen at many places in the district including GIC Inter College, Matbarganj, Chowk Raidopur Gandhi Tiraha, Chowk, Jama Masjid, Badarka, Pandey Bazaar, Mukeriganj. These areas were flooded with water. Due to this, people passing by had to pass through these roads while getting wet.

Due to this rain, people on the road are facing problems. At the same time, the general public is getting relief from the heat. Due to this rain, waterlogging is also being seen in many places.

Disaster management issued alert

The way Azamgarh district received continuous heavy rain for two days, disaster management has indicated more rain in the district in the coming days. Regarding this, disaster management had written a letter to the district BSA and had also asked for a holiday in the schools.

In the same sequence, late at night, the Basic Education Officer of the district has closed schools up to class eight till July 6 due to alert. Meteorologist Dr. Mulayam Yadav said- Farmers have benefited from the rain. Farmers have been waiting for water for paddy crop for a long time.
