In Etawah, Congress party officials gave a memorandum addressed to the Governor to the District Magistrate. Action was demanded against those who burnt the effigy with Rahul Gandhi’s photo. On Thursday, workers met the DM under the leadership of the Congress District President.

People associated with the ruling party burnt the effigy of Rahul Gandhi over a statement made by him in Parliament. Angered by this, Congressmen demanded action against the protesters from the Governor. District President Malkhan Singh said that in the Parliament of our country, Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi exposed the fake Hindutva of BJP. By raising the issue of corruption, irregularities in NEET UG examinations including Agniveer Yojana and paper leak, he exposed the false face of the government in front of the public.

In Etawah, Congress workers submitted a memorandum to the DM.

Seeing their lies exposed, the BJP got so furious that they did the despicable act of burning the effigy of Rahul Gandhi with his photo under the protection of the police and administration not only in Etawah but in the whole of UP. This is against the tradition of democracy in our country. He said that this incident of burning the effigy with the photo of opposition leaders by giving protection to the people of the ruling party by the police administration is highly condemnable and against clean politics.

Action should be taken against those who burnt the effigy with the photo of Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi. During this time district president Malkhan Singh Yadav, city president Pallav Dubey, former city president Mohammad Rashid Khan, Komal Singh Kushwaha, Alok Yadav, Prem Kishore Dwivedi, Ramjivan Kushwaha, Asaram Katheria, Sarla Jatav, Mukesh Yadav, Mahesh Katare, Prabhu Dayal Shakya, Shyam Singh Kushwaha, Sarla Jatav, Binu Verma, Reena Yadav, Mohanlal Prajapati, Satish Shakya, Sachin Shankhwar, Manish Mishra, Atul Mishra, Padam Dubey, Vikrant Saxena and Ramakrishna Yadav were present.
