In Mainpuri, goons attacked a retired teacher and his family with sticks and rods. The retired teacher died in this attack. His family members who came to save him were seriously injured. Police reached the spot, admitted the injured to the hospital and sent the body to the hospital.

Retired teacher Brij Bihari (65) had an argument with Bunty the firecracker seller in his neighborhood over some issue. A minor argument took a serious turn. The family members said that the accused came to their house and beat the retired teacher with sticks and left him in a dying state. The teacher’s wife Yashoda and his grandson Anant, who came to protest and rescue him, were also thrashed with sticks. The teacher died due to the beating by the accused, while the accused fled from the scene.

Grandson Anant said that his grandparents and he were beaten up by Bunty the cracker seller. His grandfather died due to the beating. At present, the police have started investigating the case on the basis of the complaint of the family. The police say that the accused will be arrested soon.
