Plantation was done by Rotary Club in Mau. A massive plantation program was organized near Vaishnopuram Sarovar in Barpur of the city. In which apart from the club members, other people also planted 50 plants together. Rotary Club planted trees for a month through this mega campaign.

Rotary Club founder and former president Dr. SC Tiwari said that planting trees is very important to save the environment in the present times. In the future, it will be very difficult to live without it. Senior members of the club Shamim Ahmed and Dr. HN Singh said that preserving trees is also an important task. Apart from this, preserving drinking water is also important for the coming generation.

There will be a tree planting program throughout the month

The program was formally started by senior Rotarians Dr. SC Tiwari, Shamim Ahmed, Dr. H.N. Singh, Dr. Asghar Ali and Dr. Ajay Kumar Singh by planting a tree. Giving information about the massive tree plantation program, club president Pradeep Singh said that the Rotary Club will plant trees continuously throughout the month.

Club secretary Puneet Shrivastav expressed his gratitude to all the members. In the end, as per Rotary tradition, the programme concluded with the national anthem. Dr. Ajit Singh, club treasurer Dr. Khalid, Sachindra Singh, Dr. Ajay Singh, Dr. Aslam, Dr. Rajiv Verma, Dr. Pushpendra Singh, Dr. Shashank Shekhar Singh, Anand Gupta, Kalyan Singh, Hariom Rai, Rajiv Shukla, Manish Rai, Saurabh Kumar Agrawal, Govind Kumar etc. were present in the tree plantation programme.
