The biggest challenge before him after taking charge is to conduct the 10th and 12th examinations of the year 2025 safely. The new secretary has to surpass the achievements of the board in conducting the board examinations without re-examination, breaking the record of 30 years.

Dibyakant Shukla holds the record of releasing the result in the shortest time
Outgoing Secretary Dibyakant Shukla took over as UP Board Secretary on 30 June 2020. During his tenure, he conducted the 10th and 12th examinations for three years. For the first time, new records were made by establishing command control in the board headquarters and regional offices and conducting the examination in a fair manner without re-examination. The special thing is that Dibyakant Shukla has made a record of conducting the examination in a short time as well as releasing the results in a short time.
To maintain the secrecy of the question papers, they were packaged in tamper evident envelopes. To prevent the exchange of answer sheets and the use of old answer sheets, QR code and the logo of the Secondary Education Council were put on them. The examination centres were monitored online round the clock, due to which there were no incidents of question paper leakage.
