Etawah cyber criminals are getting increasingly emboldened. Criminals are now not refraining from committing fraud in the name of district officials. Money is being demanded from people by using Etawah DM’s photo. This matter has created panic in the administrative staff.

On Friday, a complainant met District Magistrate Avneesh Rai and complained. Money is being demanded from him through a WhatsApp number. DM Etawah’s photo is attached to the WhatsApp. After which Etawah DM warned the people of the district through social media and media. A complaint has also been lodged with the cyber crime police. The DM has ordered action by registering a case in cyber crime on this matter.
Legal action is being taken against those who create fake IDs
The District Magistrate said that legal action is being taken against those who make fake IDs. Do not pay attention to any such fake ID. Soon action will be taken against such people. The person who made the fake ID got the fake SIM card number issued from Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, the location is coming out to be Alwar in Rajasthan. I have also warned people on social media.
