Divisional Commissioner Kaushal Raj Sharma inspecting the preparations for Saavan at Kashi Vishwanath Temple, accompanied by DCP Security Suryakant Tripathi.
The police and administration along with Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust have started preparations for the arrival of devotees during Saawan in Varanasi. On Friday evening, Temple Trust Chairman and Divisional Commissioner Varanasi Kaushal Raj Sharma inspected the security preparations. The temple corridor is under construction.

During the inspection, Divisional Commissioner Kaushal Raj Sharma discussed the possible number of visitors in the upcoming month of Shravan. DCP Security Suryakant Tripathi and Deputy Collector of Temple Trust Shambhusharan along with Trust officials visited the entire complex and inspected it point wise.
Discussed the strongest security during the 29 days of Sawan, crowd management plan, disaster relief arrangements, facilities for visitors, security and faultless darshan system. Along with coordination of security and management agency, instructions were given for inter-departmental coordination with all other departments including health, transport, electricity, urban development.
The Divisional Commissioner first of all fixed the time for an inter-departmental coordination meeting with all the departments on Monday, 8th July at 4 pm. He asked the officials of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust to prepare and submit the ‘Shravan month management plan’ within two days. He asked them to prepare a detailed action plan incorporating all the points, on the basis of which the blueprint for the entire Shravan will be prepared.
