NEET PG exam date released: Exam will be held in 2 shifts on 11 August; Health Ministry had postponed it a night before the exam

The National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released the new date for the NEET PG exam. This exam will now be held on August 11 in two shifts. This exam was to be held on June 23, but the Union Health Ministry postponed the NEET PG exam on June 22.
NBEMS has said that the new exam date has been released only after reviewing the SOP and protocols required for the exam.
The exam date was extended as a precaution
The ministry had said that the date of NEET PG has been extended as a precautionary measure amid allegations of irregularities in some recent competitive examinations. The new date of the exam will be announced soon. Meanwhile, details of the strength of conducting the NEET PG exam will be taken.
Earlier, three major exams of NTA – NCET, UGC NET and CSIR UGC NET were also cancelled within 9 days.
