The marriage of a girl from a village in Thana Nigohi area was fixed with a boy from a village in Thana Jalalabad area. The baraat was to come to the village of Nigohi on Thursday. All the rituals including Dwarchar were completed. When the baraat did not come even after a long time, all the relatives from the bride’s side started raising questions. After that, the bride’s father asked his relatives to contact the groom’s side, then it was found that the groom has refused to bring the baraat.

Hearing this, the bride’s father was shocked. After that, when the bride’s father talked to the groom’s side, they flatly refused to bring the baraat and when asked the reason, no valid reason was given by the groom’s side. Eventually, the news of the baraat not coming reached the bride.

The bride locked them both in the room
The bride decided that now the groom should be taught a lesson. According to the information, the bride called the groom and said, come to meet her one last time and after that we will never meet again. Hearing this, the groom went to meet the bride with his brother. Then the bride locked both of them in the room. The groom’s family was informed the same night.

On Friday morning around 6 o’clock, the people from the groom’s side reached the bride’s house. Even then the bride did not agree to leave the couple. After that, the groom’s side informed the police. The police reached the spot and took the groom out of the room.

According to the police, both the parties have come to the police station. Talks are going on between the two parties here. If a complaint is received, action will be taken on that basis.
