The water level of Saryu river is continuously rising in Ayodhya. It is rising by 1 to 2 cm every hour and reaching near the danger mark. In view of this, the Ayodhya district administration has made all arrangements to deal with the flood. 10 flood posts have been set up in the district and officials have been deployed there.

Due to continuous rain in the hilly areas, the water level of Saryu is increasing. On Monday evening, the water level of Saryu reached 92 meters. The water level of Saryu is 73 centimeters below the danger level. Devotees are being prevented from going into deep water. According to District Magistrate Nitish Kumar, there is no flood situation in Ayodhya right now. But all preparations have already been made to deal with the flood. Flood posts have been built and 24-hour duty is being imposed there.

He informed that 6 posts have been constructed in Sadar tehsil, 3 in Rudauli and 1 in Sohawal tehsil. 12 villages in Ayodhya district are affected by floods. Complete arrangements have been made to deal with this. Arrangements for boats and divers have been made on a large scale in the district.

In Sohawal area of ​​Ayodhya, people are crossing the river by boat and bringing their belongings to the other side.
