The Garib Rath Express train running from Banaras Railway Station (Manduadih) to Anand Vihar Terminal (New Delhi) was equipped with LHB coaches from Sunday. Coaches made with LHB-Link Hoffman Busch Technique are comfortable and safe.

The passengers who came to travel by Garib Rath at Banaras station liked its new look very much and people were seen taking reels and selfies with it. This facility has been provided in train number 22541/22542.

Now Garib Rath will have 22 coaches instead of 12
Garib Raat Superfast Express which left from Banaras station on Sunday had 20 coaches instead of 12. Public Relations Officer Ashok Kumar said that this third AC train now has a total of 22 coaches including 20 LHB coaches of AC third economy, one luggage van and a generator van. Earlier it had only 12 coaches.

Fare is cheaper than other trains
Talking about Garib Rath Express, Ashok Kumar said that all its coaches are three-tier AC. Its fare is cheaper than other trains. Hence, passengers prefer to travel in this train. Now to make this train more comfortable and safe, the railways have installed LHB coaches in it. This will make the journey safe and smooth.

These new facilities will be available
Ashok Kumar said that along with safety and comfort, passengers will get new facilities. The coach will have mobile holder, foldable table, foot operated water system, disabled toilet as well as comfortable seats. Along with this, CCTV cameras have been installed in all the coaches for security and there is also a fire alarm.

What is the LHB coach of railways
Till now ICF (Integral Coach Factory) coaches were being used in Garib Rath. In comparison to them LHB coaches are better and safer. LHB coaches are made with anti-telescopic design. These coaches do not collide with each other nor do they get derailed easily. These coaches are made of stainless steel which increases their ability to withstand shock and impact during an accident. Apart from this, the coupling system of its two coaches is so good that it prevents two coaches from climbing over each other.
