Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Lakhimpur Kheri on Wednesday to take stock of the flood situation. He took information about the flood from the officials and directed them to help the flood-affected people. After this, the Chief Minister met Jal Shakti Minister Swatantra Dev Singh in a motorboat of NDRF.

At the same time, the CM reviewed the situation by holding a meeting with public representatives and officials. The CM said that at this time the safety of people and wealth is our priority. All officers should remain in alert mode. In the past years, good work has been done through inter-departmental coordination to protect people’s lives from floods. This year too, the safety of people in the event of floods should be ensured through better coordination, quick action and better management. Maintain regular monitoring of the flood situation. SDRF and PAC flood unit and disaster management teams should remain in active mode 24×7. Adequate reserve stock should be collected for flood emergencies in highly sensitive and sensitive areas.
