A child died due to electric shock in Runakta, Agra. The 8-year-old child had returned from school. He came in contact with the broken fencing of the transformer near his house. The people of the colony say that they have been complaining about the broken fencing for many days. But no one listened to them. Even after the child’s death, the electricity department tied the fencing with a rope. Govind Sharma of Kisan Morcha and District President of Parshuram Sena Khemchand Sharma have demanded that the electricity department should provide financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh to the family after the child’s death.
