On Thursday morning, a 30-year-old unidentified youth was found lying on the railway track in the Banthra police station area of Lucknow. Railway police reached the spot after getting information from passersby and sent the body for post-mortem. This entire case is of Haroni railway station located on Lucknow-Kanpur railway section.

The deceased was wearing a pink shirt and blue lowers. The passersby were shocked to see the mutilated body lying on the railway track. They immediately informed the police of the nearest police station.
When the railway police reached the spot and investigated, they did not find any object near the deceased that could help in his identification. The railway police called people from nearby villages to identify him, but he could not be identified.
At present, the police have sent the body for postmortem. Police say that initial investigation is being done. It is believed that the death occurred after falling from a train.
