High school and intermediate students have come together against the transfer of the principal of a government inter college in Banda. Carrying placards with slogans in their hands, the students have protested not only in school but also on the streets and have demanded from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to postpone the transfer of the principal.

These students, who took to the streets with placards in their hands and shouted slogans, are from the Government Inter College located in Bilgaon of Atarra tehsil of Banda. They are registering their protest by reaching the streets with placards in their hands. About 8 months ago on 24 November 2023, the government had sent PES Amarpal Patel as the principal to GIC Bilgaon, which is struggling with huge mismanagement and educational poverty.

The students have demanded to stop the transfer of the Principal.

He took over the charge 8 months ago
Within the last 8 months, Principal Amarpal transformed this dilapidated college as soon as he took charge. If the protesting students and teachers are to be believed, science classes started in the college in the last 8 months. The laboratory at the library was arranged and started, along with this the level of teaching and learning has been improved due to which the number of students in the college has also increased.

The principal got the roads repaired
Students say that Principal Amarpal got the roads leading to the college repaired through his efforts, so that children can easily go to and come from school during rains and in such a situation, there is a lot of anger among the students due to his transfer in just 8 months. Students say that the transfer of such a hardworking principal should be stopped immediately, so that the educational level can be improved further.
