The incident happened near a petrol pump

A woman constable posted at Premnagar police station in Bareilly was misbehaved with at night, a few steps away from Kohdapir police post. There were four to five youths in the car, who were drunk.

The injured woman constable, whose identity is not being given here, is missing.

Despite the lady constable’s protest, the accused made comments to the lady constable under the influence of alcohol. After which the accused sped away in the car. The lady constable informed the police and chased the two youths. After running for about 100 meters, the lady constable fell down and got injured, but the two youths were caught.

The police caught both the accused youths and took them to the police station and questioned them. They also chased the three other youths. One of the arrested youths said that he is posted in the army. He had drunk alcohol at a wedding ceremony. A bottle of alcohol was also found in the car with Ghaziabad registration number.
