In Lalitpur, on Thursday evening, teachers including the teacher wife of the Sadar MLA protested at the BSA office against online attendance. After this, marching on foot, a memorandum was submitted to the Deputy District Magistrate Nishant Tiwari in the District Magistrate’s office demanding online attendance.

There are orders to register online attendance of teachers in council schools from 8th July. Which is being opposed by council teachers. Under this, on Thursday, a memorandum addressed to the Chief Minister was handed over to the Sub-District Magistrate under the leadership of District President of Uttar Pradesh Primary Teachers Association Vinod Niranjan, District Minister and BJP MLA Ramratan Kushwaha’s wife Shakuntala Kushwaha. Along with this, a demand was raised to resolve the problems of teachers.

Sadar MLA Ramratan Kushwaha is from the Bharatiya Janata Party and his wife Shakuntala Kushwaha is a teacher. She often opposes the BJP government on teachers’ issues. She says that she is a teacher first and then the wife of an MLA.

During the demonstration, district media in-charge Inder Singh Patel, block bar media in-charge Pushpendra Jain said that the memorandum program was supported by Junior High School Teachers Association, Pre-Secondary Teachers Association, UTA, ATETVA, Women Teachers Association, Pre-Secondary Instructor Welfare Committee, Primary Education Mitra Sangh.
