6 days ago, 6 accused had attacked the teacher with intent to kill
In fact, Rohit Kumar, a resident of Lambiya village in Bachhrayun police station area, is a physics lecturer at Shri Ram Sharan Das Memorial Inter College in Gajraula. It is alleged that on July 6, he was beaten up by 6 people. Casteist remarks were made and fire was fired at him. After the incident, the teacher somehow saved his life and informed the police about the matter.
People of the teachers’ union reached the police station.
Police accused of not taking any action even after 6 days
It is alleged that the police did not take any action. After which today, i.e. on Friday, all the school managers and teachers reached the police station under the banner of Unaided School Management Welfare Association Amroha and talked to the station in-charge. Also gave an ultimatum that if a case is not registered by this evening on the complaint given by the victim teacher, then all the unaided schools of the district will remain closed. The education system will be ruined. However, the station in-charge told all the teachers to register a case in the matter by evening.
