The councilors have come together in the Nagar Palika against the stalling of works related to public problems and the works being carried out for commission in the name of development. On Friday, more than 30 councilors of the Nagar Palika met the Divisional Commissioner Amit Gupta and complained about EO Vinay Mani Tripathi. The councilors alleged that the district administration is not cooperating. In such a situation, they have demanded an investigation by forming a committee on three points. The councilors have also demonstrated in front of the Commissioner in the Collectorate premises.

employees are not getting salary
The councillors said that it has been almost 13 months since the new board was formed. Firstly, the board meetings are not being held on time. At the top, arbitrariness is being done openly and public money is being misused. The contract for outsourcing employees in the Nagar Palika Parishad was allotted to Banke Bihari, a firm in Mainpuri. The employees have not received their salary since April.

Many employees were removed without notice. Works are being done on quotations in the construction department. Whereas works should be done on tenders. Repairs of streets and construction of culverts are not being done in the wards of the councilors. Tenders were issued for beautification of the Pakka Talab, but no work has been done even after a year. Restaurants and shops are being constructed here on the Pakka Talab, which is completely wrong and unconstitutional. Shops are being allotted only to contractors and firms. The councilors demanded action against the culprits so that the image of the government is not tarnished.
