A traffic meeting will be held in Meerut today on Saturday regarding the Kanwar Yatra starting from 22nd July. The government’s ADG Traffic K. Satyanarayan has come to Meerut for planning traffic management and other arrangements. ADG Traffic had met Meerut’s SP TRAI on Friday itself.

Today we will hold a meeting with officers from other districts
During the Kanwar Yatra, there will be discussions on the traffic plan on NH-58, complete closure of vehicular movement on the Ganganahar track, security of the roads leading to Pura Mahadev temple in Baghpat, route diversion on the roads going from Meerut to Bijnor and other arrangements. ADG will hold a meeting with Meerut zone officers, Ghaziabad police, Noida police, Uttarakhand officers and Delhi police on Saturday. Apart from this, he will also go for inspection till the Uttarakhand border.
