The DM heard the complaints while sitting in the police station.

On Saturday, Thana Samadhan Diwas was organized in the Maharajpur police station premises of Kanpur under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Rakesh Kumar Singh. During this, he heard the complaints of the complainants and immediately sent teams to the spot to settle the land related matters.

Disposal was done by sending teams on the spot

While listening to the complaints, District Magistrate Rakesh Kumar Singh directed about two teams to investigate the land related cases on the spot and settle the matter. During this, the DM instructed the concerned officials to settle other complaints as soon as possible.

After hearing the complaints, the DM got the solution immediately.

BJP leader had occupied the plot

Aarti Devi, wife of Anil Kumar Umrao, a resident of Shyam Nagar, Kanpur, has a plot near Sarsaul CHC which is recorded as residential in the revenue records. BJP leader Ganesh Shankar Shukla had forcefully occupied the shop built on it for many years. The DM sent a team to the spot and freed the plot from occupation. At the same time, a team has been sent to the spot regarding the land issue in Gangaganj and directions have been given for its resolution.

DM gave strict instructions to the officers

District Magistrate Rakesh Kumar Singh, while instructing the officers, said that strict action should be taken against criminals, land mafias and those who occupy government land on the basis of zero tolerance policy. In cases of mutual dispute, both the parties should be called and the matter should be settled on the basis of consensus.

SDM, Tehsildar were present

As soon as District Magistrate Rakesh Kumar Singh reached the police station Samadhan Diwas, there was a stir among the officers present there. About half a dozen complaints were received in the Samadhan Diwas. Two were resolved on the spot and instructions were given to the concerned officers for the other complaints.

During this time, SDM Narwal Rishabh Verma, Sanjay Pandey Inspector Maharajpur, Kanungo and Lekhpal along with the officers of the concerned department were present.
